Im baaaaaaaaaack! Ok not that I was even gone for very long, but compared to my last actual post where I include more than motivation, Yeah; its been awhile! Since then I stuck it out a few more days until the weekend to see my daughter, forgot her costumes at home(since I was at my parents house) so we just stayed in for Halloween, the week she was gone I enjoyed QT with my husband and caught up on much needed cleaning.

Bringing me into the now, this past weekend I had the most amazing time at STYLECON! I went with my brother in laws girlfriend Miranda. Most of my friends may or may not know how much I love style, fashion and makeup so when I started asking around to see who wanted to go I didn't get the shared enthusiasm I had haha My sister actually feels the same way I do but her crazy work schedule prevented her from going. Then I remembered Miranda is a fashion student(who graduates in March woop woop)! Hellooooo, I should have asked her in the first place!! Plus she literally lives in the same area so yea, PERFECT! She was down from the minute asked and we definitely had a lot of fun. I wish through my pictures you can see how gorgeous setups were and I wish that the statement "this was a great event" really channels how great it was. My first time at an event like this and I was overwhelmed with the friendliness, gorgeousness, and empowering feeling inside the building. We got super cool goodie bags and at each little booth there were even more free things. A section where people were doing hair, nails and makeup.. FREE!!!! If this event happens next year you can believe I'll be there! & you should be too :) Sorry I didn't go into dramatic detail about it but I feel so lame because I've taken every opportunity to talk about it to anyone willing to listen haha If you have any more questions just comment or private message! Little Things

The title of this post is called "Little Things" because makeup is one of the little things that makes me feel better. After Olivia of course! Today she is FIVE MONTHS!! My beautiful baby is 5 months! Time is definitely flying by. She's been at her grandparents house this entire week and everyday I want to cry because of how much I miss her :( the house is so much quieter without her giggles and screams and baby shows playing in the back. We see her Saturday and my family keeps telling me to enjoy this little vacay but I cant. An extra hour of sleep is cool but I would rather loose all my sleep and be up with Olivia. Can you tell I miss my baby :(( haha Ok so my original motive for this post was to talk about MY SHITTY DAY AT WORK and how makeup is one of many things that makes me happy but I got distracted thinking about my cutie. Im not a pro makeup artist just a girl who loves makeup. Youtube is everything for beginners! I didn't start wearing makeup til 5 years ago and just got somewhat "good" at it during my pregnancy. We have 3 bathrooms and I designated one for just me ;) I ultimately want a makeup vanity and I planned on making our 3rd bedroom my makeup room but my husband said no -_- Still working on a good argument to get my way or brainstorm an idea of how to utilize the space so we can both get what we want. Hope your day was better than mine! Did I mention I cant wait to see Olivia and take her 5 month pics so her post can go up?? Moms can you feel me on this? Im so dramatic I know haha

Home Tour: Kitchen/ Dining Area

So I decided to do my Home Tour post into split sections. Not only do I wanna show you our new place but I want to highlight certain things from each space(rhyming was totally not planned). Andddddddddddd Im still not ready for a complete tour post yet haha By splitting it up I can take my time.

Well, this is where we DONT eat any of our food haha When family comes over we do use it tho. When it's just Bryan, Olivia and I we cook dinner and eat it on the couch watching tv. Really bad on our part because we have carpet and Im the messiest eater. Ask my husband. Shoot, ask anybody! We do have little tv tray tables to eat on...ya know, to minimize the mess. Moving on, I plan on making that a collage wall. As you can see from my snapchat file pic(SC:campbellsoup010) with the drawn on imaginary pictures, that's my plan. Eventually. My parents had those bar stools in the backyard from YEARSSSSSS ago just collecting dust and when we moved into our first apartment my mom totally fixed em up to match our kitchen table. Thanks Mom you da bomb!

The actual kitchen is kinda lame in my opinion. Lovely and bigger than our last but who really wants to see my stove? Or my large number of chips stacked on the microwave? Or the sink filled with dirty dishes?? Yea, thought so. I just wanted to focus on our fridge. Covered in some magnets from my travels overseas, Polaroids, calendar with yummy pics, message board and marriage notes(post on that soon). Every morning when I get in my word I try to write down a new verse for the board. I would show you the inside of the fridge but I know I'd roll my eyes listening to comments about how I need "healthier" food inside haha Just let me enjoy my ice cream in the freezer and all my non paleo meal preps! haha I'll list some of the stores we shopped to make this area ours. Fall Inspired Home Decor

For starters, it's Friday!! If you're lucky like me then we'll be enjoying our 4 day weekend that started today ;) if not, it's ok. Just enjoy your time off whenever you get it. Today Im bringing you a collection of pictures that might inspire you to get creative around your home. Since moving into ours I have random days where I'll just be in a decorating mood and go crazy shopping at Ross or Target haha but on the days Im not I just browse my Pinterest and swoon over all the beautiful things I see. Still not ready for my home tour post :/ Once my new bed frame(ours broke in the move process) tv stand, and crib comes in THEN I'll be ready. Happily Ever After

These pictures are so magical! Thank you so much Amanda!! A friend of mine shot with her and I really liked the pictures so I creeped on Amanda's Instagram and fell in love with all of her work. I knew then that I wanted her to do our family/ "Hi we're married" pictures. We emailed back and forth and I described the style I wanted & once I saw the pictures I was speechless! She went above and beyond what I had in mind. Ever since she sent me the finished product I've been staring at them over and over. UGH! Perfection!! Remember in my post from last week I posted the flower crowns I made? THIS is what they were for :) Olivia was going to wear the one I made for her but since her romper was purple, and so was the flower crown, I didn't want it to be too matchy-matchy. Instead we opted for a white bow made out of flowers so they can match her sandals. I want to post our entire gallery but that'd be a really long post haha So for now enjoy these :)

In honor of today I found some really cute lipstick pics & I threw in a selfie of me wearing my new favorite: Cherry Bomb by Wet n Wild.(a steal at $1.99!) Its actually a little more glossy than it looks in the picture but my sister taught me a cool trick to matte it out. All you have to do is apply the lipstick and dab your lips with translucent powder until it looks matte enough for you. What's your favorite color? Im always willing to try something new :) & in closing here's a fierce quote:

"Give a woman the right lipstick and she can conquer the world"

You might know, or maybe you dont, that I love taking pictures! If Im not taking them I love looking at them. That's why my blog is so visual. Just a sucker for pretty things. Growing up I loved decorating and loved projects where I can showcase my individuality. My siblings always joke how Im the "jolly" one out of all of us because of how overly corny I can get with holidays. Well anyway, a couple years ago when instagram wasn't as big as it is today, I found a really cool picture on the popular page and when I clicked on the profile I was led to Charmaine Olivia(also where the idea for our daughters name came about). Instantly I fell in love with all her work and how her art celebrated women in a new light. Here she is:

The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer c1665 That painting is my all time favorite!! I read the book 'The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier as a senior in highschool for fun and that too became one of my favorite books. Its a fictional story about how the painting came to be and there's even an old movie on it. Scarlett Johansson plays Greet(the girl in the painting). To end this, whatever you do that makes you happy whether its taking pictures, writing, singing, dancing, drawing..it's all an art. Continue to do what makes your soul happy.
